Yeditepe Üniversitesi e-Business MBA Programı

 

E-Business MBA programı, değişen dünya şartlarında yeniden yazılan ekonomi kuralları ve iş uygulamalarında uzman işletmeciler yetiştirmeyi hedeflemektedir. Yeditepe MBA e-iş birikimi, 12 uzmanlık dersi, uluslararası sempozyumlar ve etkinlikler düzenlenmesiyle gelişmektedir. Türkiye’de ilk ve tek olan bu program, hem yöneticilik eğitimini, hem e-iş stratejilerini, hem de teknolojik altyapıyı özümlemiş elit bir zümre yetiştirmek için kurulmuştur. Hedef teknolojist yetiştirmek değil bu üçlünün sinerjisine hakim yöneticiler yetiştirmektir. Bu program SAP ve Microsoft ile ortaklaşa olarak yürütülmektedir. Temel dersi EBUS 501 olan bu gruptaki derslerin önemli bir bölümü pazarlama, finans, bankacılık, yonetim gibi gruplarla ortak derslerdir. Dolayısıyla öğrencilere çift konsantrasyon bitirme imkanı sağlanmaktadır. Programa başlamak için öğrencilerde teknik bir önbilgi aranmamakta, gerekli teknik bilgiler program suresince öğrencilere kazandırılmaktadır.

EBUS 525 Adv. B2C E-commerce

Fundamentals of e-commerce. The nature of B2C market. Mechanisms of e-tailing. Backbone aspects with MS Commerce Server and SQL Server. Community structures and e-mails. Payment on the net and banking services. SSL and SET. Intensive customisation. Logistical problems. Small-business solutions for Turkey. Large-scale e-tailing and outlet management.  

EBUS 522 B2B E-commerce

The new economy and the B2B market. Vertical portals. Transnational constraints. Mechanisms of B2B trading. Payment systems. Advanced community formations. Introduction to MS Commerce Server. The XML protocol and BizTalk. E-marketplace as the heart of B2B e-commerce. Integration of giants with medium and small businesses. The MySap.com concept. ECML. Developing a business plan.

Technological fundamentals of the Internet architecture and the WWW. The nature of website management. Reviewing HTML. Scripting and JavaScript language. Advanced design with dynamic-HTML. Server-side methods to integrate databases with web pages. Introduction to MS InterDev and SQL Server. Hosting and servers. Introduction to MS IIS. Strategic decisions in technology investment.

EBUS 524 B2C E-Commerce

Basics of the Internet. Development of electronic commerce. Integrating marketing and marketing communications concepts with the Internet. Corporate image and web sites. Advertisements and banner strategies. Payment and auditing methods for banner airing. Customisation and mail-based webcasting. Merketing budget. Establishing communities for publicity. B2B Internet Marketing .

EBUS 511 Electronic Supply Chain Management

Fundamentals of supply chain management. International vertical market structures. The case for e-business. E-SCM technologies. Critical assessment strategies for cooperation levels. The mechanism of e-SCM. Logistics and logistics packages. Legacy systems, international cases.  

EBUS 510 Enterprise Resource Planning

Dynamics of e-business. Analysis of larger organizations. Reasons for transformation. Planning and e-commerce. Custom made or ready suites. Packages: finance, procurement, HR, sales, marketing, logistics, production, chain management. Strategic decisions in migration and technology investment. Web portals of the ERP suite.  

EBUS 563 Financing Net Companies

The nature of dot-coms. Project assessment. Information-based value in the new economy. Venture capital. Matching ideas with capitalists. Incubators. Technoparks. World and Turkish stock markets. Initial public offering on Nasdaq. Analysing dot.com failures. Large-scale investments. Development of a e-business plan.

Basics of the Internet and the WWW. Protocols ans structures. Effective use of browsers. Hypertext mark-up language. Using MS Frontpage to design web pages. Constructing a small-business websites.

Customer as a  center of e-business. The case for customer relationship management. Legacy systems. Third generation of e-commerce. Personalisation. Independent CRM software. EBUS 552 Internet & the New Media

WWW as a new media tool. Marketing communications through Internet. Web advertisement management and banners. Branding and packaging on the net. Creative methods using web technologies. Integration of broadcasting media and the Internet.  

EBUS 530 Electronic Banking

Transaction & value exchange is a fundamental component of e-business and commerce. In this course money side of the new economy is displayed forn the student for an in-depth understanding of the transaction that banks & financial organizations are through.
