Water Science and Technology is happy to announce the launch of our call for papers, for our subsequent special issue on COVID-19 practicalities going through the water business. The Department of Science, Technology, and Society will elect a 3-person committee to evaluate all applications. The fund is established by the Aberg household to commemorate their daughter Ashley Aberg’s experiences as an undergraduate finishing a minor in Science, Technology, and Society. The Aberg Family Fellowship is an annual award consisting of up to $5000 to cover bills incurred between a college member within the Department of Science, Technology, and Society and a scholar mentee to allow for an enhanced learning expertise.
By leveraging its community of consultants distributed all through the University of California, California State University, California Community Colleges, Stanford, Caltech, and NASA and DOE campuses, CCST can reply to a wide range of decision maker requests for help. CCST employees implement programs as directed by the Board, offering policy evaluation and project administration, and serving as direct liaisons between state leaders and the Council. Staff members assist CCST’s rising community of consultants and continually cultivate new contacts within the legislative and scientific communities.
