The lecturers had recently completed preservice coursework centered on inquiry-primarily based teaching and implementing science instruction with technology instruments. Of the six starting teacher participants in TEC, four – Jason, Brenna, Matt, and Cassie – participated in this study. The different two starting teachers did not participate within the research, as they didn’t have sufficient time to commit to the analysis examine. However, integrating technology into instruction continues to be challenging for most academics (Norris, Sullivan, Poirot, & Soloway, 2003; Office of Technology Assessment [OTA], 1995). The current research reveal that technology integration is an extended-term course of requiring commitment (Doering, Hughes, & Huffman, 2003; Hughes, Kerr, & Ooms, 2005; Sandholtz, Ringstaff, & Dwyer, 1997).
In an age of mobile gadgets, cloud computing, social media, and the Internet of Things, the long run seems bright for know-how professionals.
