Today, the networked society is increasingly a society whose social buildings and activities, to a greater or lesser extent, are organized around digital information networks that connect people, processes, things, knowledge, and social networks. This convergence of the virtual (cyber), the bodily, and human worlds is often known as the “Internet of Everything”. STS prepares students for careers that handle the broader social, cultural and political ramifications of science, know-how and drugs similar to regulation, journalism, public coverage, economics, authorities and science education.
